Victoria is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience supporting children, families, adults, and vulnerable populations. She is passionate about helping children navigate educational, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioural challenges through compassionate, individualized care.
She holds bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling from Capella University. Throughout her career, she has worked in group homes, non-profit organizations, and multidisciplinary settings, supporting children and adults with disabilities, facing addictions, homelessness, trauma, and complex behavioural needs.
Victoria’s experience within a transdisciplinary team has strengthened her understanding of childhood development, diagnostic processes, and family-centred care. She uses a trauma-informed, empathetic, and strength-based approach, integrating a variety of therapeutic modalities and recognizing the positive role nature and outdoor experiences can play in mental, emotional, and social well-being. With extensive training in play therapy, she provides young clients with creative, engaging and developmentally appropriate ways to express themselves, process emotions, and overcome challenges.
